Many of you have probably heard of Solenn Heussaff the actress, but I bet only a couple of you know that she’s also an artist. And not just an artist in the sense that she shows up on TV and on the big screen, but she’s also a painter, leather crafter, furniture designer, and fashion designer too. Want to check out her works? She has just premiered “Our People” at the Pineapple Lab in Makati. It’s an exhibition inspired by Solenn and her family’s travels around the world. In the exhibition, you’ll see 25 intimate works that showcase the lives of her subjects, subjects she met during her travels to places like Myanmar, Africa, and Thailand. “Our People” will display more than just Solenn’s paintings. You can also check out previews of Solenn’s future projects and collaborations with companies like Our Tribe, Philux, and fashion designer Mia Arcenas. Yes, she has also conceptualized and designed leather works, furniture, and even clothes! Here’s a sneak preview of what you’ll be seeing if you step into Pineapple Lab for her first ever solo exhibition.
