Take your friends on a group date and watch films that “reflect the Filipino culture while illustrating messages that will resonate globally”. This year’s line-up includes “Dyamper” by Mes de Guzman, “Expressway” by Ato Bautista, “Lila” by Gino M. Santos, “MRS.” by Adolf Alix Jr., and “TPO (Temporary Protection Order)” by Joselito Altarejos. The full-length films were created in close collaboration with Sinag Maynila CEO and Founder Wilson Tieng and internationally acclaimed film director Brillante Mendoza.
This event is part of the “Diliman Earth Fair”, an outdoor festival to celebrate Earth Day 2016 and was inspired by the moon viewing ceremonies practiced in Japan and other parts of Asia. Performances include music from UP Tugtugang Musika Asyatika (UP Tugma), Auit Vocal Ensemble and works by UP Composers of New Music (CONEMUS). So come and enjoy a night of music, arts and food- all while admiring the beauty of the moon!
Join Ryan Chester of Yoga+ as he leads you to generating deeper awareness of making your body go in sync with hot yoga poses. There will be Posture Labs where you will learn the benefits and anatomy of standing poses as well as seated and floor poses.
