Here at Ellry, we’re all about making everyday feel like an adventure. We’ve got ideas on how to make the most of your time, even when you’re not leaving town! Find things to do in Manila with Ellry’s weekly guide:
Tequila is among the favorites of liquor lovers around the world. And what better way to know more about the history of and how to appreciate this drink than with a tequila testing event at Alcohol by Volume (ABV). Join ¡Hola Tequila!, a class with Aljor Perreras of A’Toda Madre fame — the most popular tequila bar in Manila. If Blanco, Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo don’t sound familiar, you will get to discover and enjoy them in this event.
As classes are just coming to an end, kids need a way to spend their high energy levels. Growee supports Kids On Bikes, a sports biking event for kids of different ages – from as young as 3 years old up to 13 years old. The event is also a fundraiser to provide bikes for less fortunate kids from the community. The 3rd leg is on March 27 at UP Diliman Grounds. Get your kids’ bikes ready and start ’em young! It is free to register, just present a carton box of Growee 250ml (or 2 carton of Growee 120ml) in exchange for the Race Kit.
If you think it’s time to be better in the kitchen, the basic culinary course at the Maya Kitchen Culinary Arts Center should get you started. For four days, you will be introduced to kitchen tools and equipment, methods of food preparation which include topics on hygiene and food contamination, and more. There will be group workshops and demonstration of the recipes so you can put the theories to practice.
