It’s a clash of wits where brains, figuratively, are placed on the table. Join the excitement in GeekyFight! Trivia Night’s To Boldly Go, with Start Trek as the theme for this month’s game event. Revisit all Star Trek episodes and installments and go through its 50-year history for a chance to play in the November GeekFight. 03 WanderlandJungle Battle: Wanderband & Wanderartist 2017

As a prelude to Wanderland 2017, one of the biggest annual music and arts festival in the country, homegrown bands and artists will show off their music prowess at the Jungle Battle. Those who will reign supreme in this music adventure will be crowned Wanderband and Wanderartist 2017. Local indie band Oh Flamingo!, vocalist and acoustic artist Reese Lansangan, and soul and R&B musicians Jensen and The Flips also heed the call of the wild as they will perform for the Wanderers. Get into the wilderness of beats and sounds and see for yourself who will emerge winners in this Jungle Battle. Go wander!

11 Science Film FestivalScience Film Festival 2016

Do you know how beautiful our planet is? Watch the screening of “A Beautiful Planet” during the Opening Ceremony of the Science Film Festival 2016, organized by Goethe Institut. This festival is held globally and the Philippines is one of the countries that is part of this worthy initiative. It started in Thailand in 2005 and has become an international project in 2010. This year, the festival’s theme is Material Science. Screenings of other films included in the festival will be shown nationwide in public schools, public libraries, museums and other venues, in conjunction with the Department of Education, the Department of Science and Technology, and other partners and stakeholders.
