Color Your Life: Outdoor Art and Music at The Farm
Wouldn’t you want to take a break from city life and welcome some beauty and tranquility into your weekend? Spend a day at this farm festival basking in live acoustic music, participating in art workshops, and partaking in a farm-fresh buffet. There are even cocktails and a BBQ waiting for you at sundown. Organized by MAD Travel, a local tour company specializing in travel that “makes a difference”, Color Your Life aims to bring together artists, free spirits, world travelers, and anyone looking for a quick escape and a good cause. Part of the proceeds will go to the projects of Gawad Kalinga.
Cake Toppers Workshop
Add life to your sweet creations by adding cute, premium toppers for your cakes. This hands-on workshop by Grace Kho Gan, of online customizable cake shop Humming Bread, is perfect for beginners, passionate hobbyists, aspiring pros, and lovers of sweets. Gan will teach participants how to make modelling paste from scratch, how to create stable figures with the proper support, plus 5 different kinds of toppers – all in a day! The workshop includes all ingredients, materials, and handouts. Registration is on a first-come first-served basis.
Cebu 100 Endurance Run
Up your racing ante and complete not 10, 21, or even 42 kilometers of running at the inaugural Cebu 100 Endurance Run. This long-distance race for trained and serious marathoners covers 100 miles (roughly 160 kilometers), starting from Barangay Lahug and covering up to 8 barangays before finishing in the town of San Remigio. The race has 2 categories: the 100-mile solo, for hardcore lone runners, and the 2×50-mile relay, for long-distance duos. A finisher’s buckle, finisher’s medal, finisher’s shirt, post-race medal, and a lifetime’s worth of bragging rights await winners at the end of the line.
Personalized Crystal Jewelry and Charms Workshop
Are you in dire need of good vibes? This charms workshop might just be the answer. Channel good vibrations and create your own positive energy through semi-precious stones and crystals. Ana Kristina Badon, a crystal-loving HR officer based in Baguio City, will be sharing her love of and expertise on the positive characteristics of different semi-precious stones. Workshop participants will learn not only of their healing powers, but also how different combinations can attract the desired energies. A Quirky Crafts Workshop as well as an Ink and Watercolor Workshop are also happening in the same venue that weekend, for those who want to get all up in their DIY arts.

Landscapes Legazpi: A Landscape Photography + Food Trip Tour
Go on a photo safari with nothing less than Mayon Volcano’s legendary cone serving as your backdrop. In this workshop by prominent advertising photographer and Canon Brand Ambassador Jay Jallorina, you get to explore Legazpi’s diverse landscape and learn how to capture them in stunning photographs. Assisting in the workshop is landscape photographer and Mayon expert, Tom Falcon. But the city exploration doesn’t end there! Participants also go on food trips in between shoots to get a taste of Legazpi’s authentic Bicolano flavors. Tour fee includes accommodations, meals, transportation around Legazpi, guide fee, and a post-processing workshop.

Windfarm Half Marathon Trail Run
Run for a good cause while taking in one of the most stunning landscapes of Rizal province. The Windfarm Half Marathon will be held at the Pililla Wind Farm, Pililla Rizal, a 4.5-hectare expanse filled with rolling, winding roads and soaring windmills. For families and barkadas who want to take in the view but aren’t hardcore half-marathoners, 5k and 10k categories are also open. Finishers will get a shirt and certificate. Winners of the 5k and 10k races get a medal, and the winner of the 21k will get a trophy. All proceeds will be donated to the public elementary school students in Pililla, Rizal.
KPop Davao’s 6th Convention: The Last Journey
Talk about going out with a bang! KPop Davao will be closing its doors and hanging its hats, but not before they throw the grandest KPop celebration yet. Join the fun one last time and revel in everything cute and Korean. Groove to your favorite beats and sing along with your favorite tunes. Cheer your favorite KPop cover groups in the ultimate showdown. Take part in the many activities and just have a day of fun, laughter, great memories, and all things K! Remember this is the last one, so it’ll be your last chance. Dance like no one’s got a camera phone and party like there’s no tomorrow. Make it count!
FMA International Summer Camp 2016
On top of a mountain with the view of Puerto Galera’s breathtaking landscape, you can hone your skills in Filipino Martial Arts. The 12-day camp aims to give participants a deeper understanding of the various FMA systems and how they are all interconnected. There will be 4 systems focused on for the duration of the camp: Panuntukan, Pamuok, Karambit, and Kali. There will be light sparring sessions to exercise combat strategy. This isn’t all that the camp offers. Leisure activities such as diving, snorkeling, and a trip to Tamaraw Falls are available for those who wish to take a break from training.
Surf Fitness Retreat
Surf enthusiasts and wellness lovers are all invited to the Surf Fitness Retreat, a 3-day camp dedicated to riding the waves — literally and figuratively. Participants will not only be taught how to improve their surfing technique, they will also be instructed in different practices which all aim to amplify their experience on the board. Yoga for Surfing will help with their balance, flexibility, and core strength; while Circuit Training for Surfing will help give surfers strength and stamina. Finally, Superfood for Surfers will teach participants which food best keeps them energized and fully-charged. Rates also include 3D-2N accommodations, roundtrip transfers, daily breakfasts, rashguard rentals, a goodie bag, and a certificate.
BW Surf Philippines Kite Trip
Kitesurf enthusiasts, time to head to Kingfisher Beach. Join BW Surf, a European brand of kiting equipment, for a week of riding some of the country’s best breaks, enjoying the laid back atmosphere, and learning more about the sport. BWS head designer, Dano See, will be testing design prototypes for guests to try out and make their inputs on. BWS kitesurfing legends Ian Alldredge and Ben Wilson will also be present. It’s a great chance for kitesurfers to enjoy the sport they love together, learn from each other, and have pure fun.
The Art Clinic
Enjoy all things watercolor at the ARTKada’s Art Clinic. Workshops, live demos, and goodies await wannabe watercolorists and experts alike. Top local artists will be present to impart their knowledge and share different techniques for the delicate medium. Premium Daniel Smith watercolor dot cards will also be on-hand, and complete watercolor kits will be provided during the workshops. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to iLearners, Inc.
